About

Documenting Climate Change

While there is an increase in the general awareness of the issue of anthropogenic climate change, there is not a corresponding increase in the amount of meaningful action.

Through the sharing of human-centric stories in all formats, the aim of Documenting Climate Change is to raise awareness and understanding, globally and across all sectors of society, of the issues and challenges posed by anthropogenic climate change.

The stories will include those created in a participatory way with communities being impacted directly by climate change, and those created by documentary storytellers of all disciplines, who have borne witness to the causes and the consequences of climate change, and the mitigation and adaption efforts where they live and work.

The website will provide the support and guidance on how to create impactful stories, created in a considered and ethical way, that can engage with as wide an audience as possible, and inspire positive, meaningful action.
